Cane Run Power Plant Demo
Our team was called upon to document the demolition of the once cutting-edge Cane Run coal-fired power plant. With a small army of Canon cinema cameras, along with drone support as well as the help of a few action cameras by GoPro and Sony, we captured the demolition from every possible angle. The resulting video not only successfully documents this amazing engineering feat, but also celebrates the history of this generating station. Winner of a Gold Telly Award.
March for Our Lives (warning - graphic content)
Fighting for a common cause, people from around the country gathered for the March For Our Lives event. We saw to it that some people personally affected by school shootings could attend. We sent a camera. This video is a result of that trip.
Winner of the People's Choice Award at the Addy Awards, Gold Addy, Regional Silver Addy, and Gold Telly Awards.
Meristoga Industrial Hemp
Meristoga is a company based in the Northwest part of the United States that specializes in American Hemp Extracts. Due to a law change they received governmental approval to launch a pilot program with Kentucky farmers to harvest various strains of hemp. They wanted to document the process and tell their company story along the way, so they reached out to JFP. Over the course of an entire crop season, across the majority of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, we filmed every step from putting seeds into the ground to the harvesting of plants. What we ended up with was an award-winning video product that did exactly what Meristoga wanted to do. A variety of cameras were used for this project, ranging from the Canon EOS C300 to the 4K DJI Inspire drone. Winner of Gold Addy and Gold Telly Awards.
