Documentary is a different job than commercial work. Nobody hands you a shot list. The event happens once, the interview goes where it goes, and the story is usually not the one you walked in expecting. What you need is a crew that can read a room, stay out of the way, and still come back with something that holds together in the edit.
What we shoot:
Patient and family stories for hospitals and health systems. Historic moments with no second take: demolitions, marches, ceremonies. Long-form profiles for nonprofits and foundations. Corporate documentary work where the goal is the record, not the pitch.
How we work:
Small crews, cinema cameras, and enough audio to keep a subject comfortable rather than wired up like a broadcast. We shoot across Kentucky and travel nationally. Most documentary projects start with a conversation about who is going to be on camera and what they are able to say.
