iRent Everything - Triple Decker Tent | Live Event Video Production Louisville

iRent Everything is a nationwide event rental and tent installation company headquartered in Louisville, Kentucky. They specialize in large-scale structural tenting for festivals, corporate events, weddings, and emergency response — handling everything from delivery and engineering to full setup and teardown.

We were brought in to produce a longform promotional video showcasing iRent Everything's triple-decker VIP structure at Bourbon & Beyond and Louder Than Life — two of the largest music festivals in the United States, both produced by Danny Wimmer Presents in Louisville. With over 400 tents on site and iRent Everything serving as the exclusive tent provider for the festival, this was a significant logistical and visual story to tell.

The centerpiece of the video is the triple-decker itself: a 20-by-60-meter structure — roughly 66 by 200 feet — erected using telehandlers and cranes with crews of 30 to 40 workers building simultaneously across multiple floors.

The video follows CEO Alex through the build process and the thinking behind it, including the company's focus on ADA accessibility, which included three platform lifts, interior ramps, and drink rails at wheelchair height.

The goal was to give iRent Everything a credible, polished sales tool — something that could communicate the scale and sophistication of what they build to festival producers, corporate event planners, and venue operators considering a premium VIP experience.

The triple-decker concept is rare in the festival world, and the video needed to make the case for why it works.

Video Transcript:

My name is Alex. I'm the CEO with iRent Everything. We're here at Bourbon and Beyond and Louder Than Life in Louisville, Kentucky, one of the largest festivals in the world and the largest music festival in the US, and we have the unique opportunity of being the exclusive tent provider for this festival, as well as Danny Wimmer Presents, with over 400 tents on site, including the beautiful triple-decker structure that you see today. And so it starts with putting a level base all the way across. We use a laser measurement system to do that. Once that's done, we start erecting the tent from the floor up. So we start with the first floor. That gets erected and lifted with telehandlers. Then from there, we bring in a crane to erect the second floor and a crane to erect the third floor. We'll have, typically, on average, 30 to 40 team members setting up the structure at any one time. Basically, everyone starts together, and so they'll start building together, and then as the structure goes further into the build, they'll start splitting into smaller teams to handle things such as stairs, AstroTurf, handicap and ADA ramps, drink rail, railings, glass, all that, components that go into the build. We have a great partnership with Danny Wimmer. We have been together for almost five years now, I believe. So last year, they came to us and said, "What can we do to elevate the VIP experience?" And part of that was the recommendation of a triple-decker. Not something that you see at a lot of music festivals, but a really cool, elevated VIP experience. And so we worked with their team throughout the year to really think through that process and design it. And now, we are looking at implementing this structure throughout different festivals they have during the year. So the structure, as you see it today, is a 20-meter by 60-meter structure, so 66 feet by 200 feet. And what is very cool about that is it's almost like a Lego set. And so how it's created today and how it's built today is not the same way it needs to be built tomorrow. We're able to change the design of the floors. Right now, they're tiered. We can make them all one level, and we can create a step-down kind of auditorium-style seating. We can change the heights. We can change the length, the width. We wanted ADA accessibility to be a key point of the structure, and so what we did was we installed three platform lifts, and with the design of the structure being tiered, we also installed ADA ramps inside the structure for guests to transition so that they're able to get closer to the front of the structure as well. And we took that a step further with the drink rails that are on the structure. Typically, those are 42 inches high to have a standing or counter height. We also have some drink rails that are 30 inches high, so guests in wheelchairs are able to roll up and enjoy their drink as well and have a great view of the stage.

When it comes to the just experience that it gives you, imagine you're out on the festival grounds, you're watching a show, and you're in the sun, and you're thinking, "Man, it's a little daunting out here. It's a little hot." But you go into the VIP structure, and it just creates this oasis, and you're just there in this shaded space where you're able to watch over the stages, to watch your favorite bands play. There are a multitude of ways that we can assist with events, whether they're big, small, or in between, and we absolutely love what we do. We're passionate about what we do, and we want to use that passion to make your event the best event it ever has been. And we will come up with the best plan of action from a perspective of tenting that will allow you not only to service your event and service your clients, but continue to grow.
