MacAllister Machinery Used Parts | Corporate Video Production Louisville

MacAllister Machinery is one of the largest Caterpillar equipment dealers in the United States — and their Indianapolis used parts facility is a sprawling operation that's nearly impossible to convey from ground level alone. That's exactly why they called us.

Our team made extensive use of drone coverage on this production, using aerial footage to communicate the sheer scale of MacAllister's inventory and yard in a way that no ground-level camera could match. From above, the scope of the operation becomes immediately clear — and that visual impression is precisely the message MacAllister needed to deliver to customers and partners.

On the ground, the production gave our crew the opportunity to get up close with heavy industrial equipment and work alongside the MacAllister team to show the facility in action. The combination of aerial and ground-level footage creates a dynamic piece that is visually impressive while also being genuinely informative.

This is exactly the kind of industrial and commercial video production work we excel at — capturing the scale and capability of a business in a way that immediately communicates credibility and builds confidence in a potential customer.

MacAllister Machinery is a legacy company as many Cat dealers are multiple Generations passed down. Much like the MacAllister family to use Parts businesses are real Legacy business. Not everybody wants to buy new parts not everybody can get availability to new parts. If you don't have a bucket on an excavator the excavators completely worthless. So it was an opportunity for us to diversify not only our business but to diverse five for our customer and be a One-Stop shop for everything they need We have over 750 attachments in stock on the ground here in the yard. Basically if it pins on to a machine, we probably have it here actual parts inventory. We've got about 25,000 pieces here in stock. Nine years ago. We started with a couple cylinders outside of a double wide trailer. And now we have almost 50,000 square foot under and almost 18 Acres outside.

At MacAllister used parts, it's not just about the amount of light items we have on the Shelf. It's about stocking high demand High need inventory for customers in Indiana, Michigan and around the world. We don't take Parts off of machines one at a time to sell them. We bring the machine in the shop. Dismantle it and individual pieces. We handle all the parts we rebuild. Currently we are dismantling 20 machines or so a year. We're going to increase that probably by double within the next year or two with anything from a 216 skid steer to 992 wheel loader just about everything in between at this point. Nothing goes on the shelf for sale until it is ready to sell and it's something that we are ready to stand behind.

We've got an amazing staff at McAlister used parts. We've got over a hundred and fifty years of experience. We've got two gentlemen that work for us that literally have been working for 45 years of their life with MacAllister Machinery. So we don't just have guys that are here for a job. We've got guys that can't leave this place because the passion they have for the business for used parts and for our customers, not only have I been in After for eight years, but I've been in the used parts business for 15. I wouldn't want to do anything else. I mean from day to day. I never know what I'm gonna be getting into. I could be talking to a customer in Australia tonight and working with my local customers during the day. It's just unpredictable. And I guess that's what I like about the job what really sets us apart though is the entrepreneurial nature of our business. Both are used equipment business and our used parts business. We buy a lot of iron we take a lot of risk in our owner Chris MacAllister allows us to do that. And that's a huge trust in our group and it really separates us from our competition because quite frankly we take those risks so that we can have the parts on the shelves that our customers need to do the job. We are very picky about the quality of the parts that we ship out. We make sure that everything that we send out looks good is packaged well and we want to make sure it's very happy when they receive their product our clients trust us because we're very selective on who we purchase from and they trust us to The right choice and make sure that they're getting the best price. They can we talk a lot of MacAllister about partnering with our customers our customers build Indiana. They build our schools. They build our infrastructure. They build a houses that we live in so for us to be able to service them provide them everything that they need we feel like we're a part of that. It's an opportunity for us to thank them by having the inventory that they need on the ground to do their jobs to thank them for all the things they've done in supporting us throughout our company's history.
